The 2024 Rule 5 draft is set to take place at the Winter Meetings in Dallas, starting at 1pm Central time. Eligible players not on a club's 40-man roster have the opportunity to be selected. Teams must have an open roster spot to make a pick and will pay $100K to the selected player's team. Selected players must remain on the active roster for the entire 2025 season or be offered back to their original team. Last year's draft saw significant player movement, and this year's order begins with the Chicago White Sox and Milwaukee Brewers.
