Country superstar Morgan Wallen surprised fans with the release of his new single "Smile" on December 30. The song follows the emotional themes of his previous releases "Lies Lies Lies" and "Love Somebody." Wallen also dropped a music video for "Smile," where he portrays himself preparing to perform on a late-night talk show on New Year's Eve. The video shows Wallen deviating from the planned performance of "Love Somebody" to sing "Smile," resulting in a ratings boost for the show. The song was co-written by Wallen with a team of songwriters and comes on the heels of his Entertainer of the Year win at the 2024 CMA Awards. Wallen is gearing up to host the Sand in My Boots Festival in Alabama in May.
