During a performance at Nashville's Big Bash New Year's Eve special, Jelly Roll paid tribute to Toby Keith by covering his 1993 debut single, "Should've Been a Cowboy." The singer also performed his own hits, including "I Am Not Okay" and "Son of a Sinner." Jelly introduced the cover by dedicating it to Toby Keith, calling him one of the greatest country music superstars. This is not the first time Jelly has performed "Cowboy," having previously done so with T-Pain at the Stagecoach Festival. The duo released a recording of their collaboration to benefit the Toby Keith Foundation.
