Pittsburgh colleges Pitt and Duquesne will face off in their 2025 football season opener at Acrisure Stadium on Aug. 30, marking the first meeting between the two teams in 86 years. Pitt holds a 5-2 series lead over Duquesne, with this game being the eighth all-time meeting between the programs. Duquesne, coming off a successful 2024 season, will play its 12th game against an FBS opponent in program history. Kickoff details and full 2025 schedules for both teams will be announced later.
