Former police officer Nathaniel Tuck, a member of the Proud Boys extremist group, was sentenced to 14 months in prison for his role in the Jan. 6 Capitol attack. Tuck pushed past police officers to enter the Capitol and posed for a celebratory photo with other Proud Boys members. Prosecutors recommended a two-year prison sentence, but Tuck was allowed to remain free until reporting to prison. Tuck's father, also a Proud Boys member and former police officer, is scheduled to be sentenced next week. The Proud Boys have been involved in numerous Capitol riot-related crimes, with some leaders receiving lengthy prison sentences.
