Coldplay will release a companion movie to their album Moon Music titled A Film for the Future, premiering on YouTube on Jan. 22. The film features visuals created by artists from around the world to complement the album's music. Content from 150 artists from 45 countries was used to create the final cut, which will also have "360-degree screenings" at select venues. Coldplay expressed gratitude to the artists involved, and the film was executive produced by Ben Mor, who described it as a "44-minute multimedia tapestry." Chris Martin discussed the band's creative freedom in a Rolling Stone cover story, emphasizing their willingness to follow their artistic instincts without constraints.
