Nintendo has officially revealed the Switch 2, a successor to the popular Switch console, featuring improved specs and enhancements. The Switch 2 will be backward compatible with most Switch games, with some exceptions. More details on the console will be revealed in a Nintendo Direct on April 2, 2025. Despite the Switch 2 announcement, the original Switch still has upcoming game releases, including Donkey Kong Country Returns and Pokemon Legends: Z-A.
