Nintendo has announced the upcoming release of the Switch 2, the successor to the popular Switch console, set to launch this year. The new console will feature a larger screen and sleeker controllers, with the ability to play games from the original Switch as well as exclusive titles. Details will be revealed at an event in April, with hints of a new Mario Kart game. Despite a decline in sales of the original Switch last year, it remains one of the best-selling consoles globally.
