A24 has released the trailer for "Opus," a new psychological horror film featuring John Malkovich as a former pop star turned cult leader. The movie, written and directed by Mark Anthony Green, follows a journalist (played by Ayo Edebiri) who is invited to profile Malkovich's character as he prepares to release a groundbreaking album. As the journalist becomes entangled in the cult's twisted plan, she must navigate a world of sycophants and intoxicated journalists. "Opus" also stars Juliette Lewis, Murray Bartlett, Amber Midthunder, Stephanie Suganami, and Tatanka Means, and is set to premiere in theaters on March 14th, 2025.
