Robert Eggers, director of the Oscar-nominated film Nosferatu, has signed on to write and direct a sequel to the cult classic Labyrinth. The upcoming movie will continue the original narrative rather than being a remake. The film is being produced by TriStar Pictures and will feature a script co-written by Eggers and Sjón. Plot details for the sequel are currently undisclosed. In the meantime, fans can enjoy "Jim Henson's Labyrinth: In Concert" with a live orchestra, extended until May 2025. Eggers is also working on a 13th-century horror film titled Werwulf.
