President Trump and first lady Melania Trump will visit North Carolina to tour regions devastated by hurricanes and wildfires. They will meet with state lawmakers, officials, and families affected by Hurricane Helene in Fletcher and Swannanoa. Franklin Graham of Samaritan's Purse will also be present. Trump will then travel to California to survey wildfire damage in Santa Monica. This trip marks his first outside Washington, DC, since becoming the 47th president.
