Cory Bowman, the half-brother of Vice President JD Vance, has announced his candidacy for mayor of Cincinnati. Bowman, a pastor and coffee shop owner, is a registered Republican and is one of eight people who have filed petitions to run for mayor. The current mayor, Aftab Pureval, a Democrat, has also announced his intention to run for re-election. Bowman, who was inspired by Vance, aims to give back to the community and has not yet received Vance's endorsement for his campaign.
