AMC Theatres is increasing the price of its Stubs A-List movie subscription service to $27.99 per month nationwide, with a lower rate of $25.99 in most locations. Subscribers will now be able to reserve up to four movies per week, up from the previous limit of three. The minimum age requirement for the subscription has been lowered to 13 years old. Despite the price hike, AMC CEO Adam Aron believes the service still offers great value compared to regular ticket prices. The subscription model was introduced in 2018 as a competitor to MoviePass, which faced financial troubles and restructured its pricing model in 2023.
