Kansas City Chiefs general manager Brett Veach expects star tight end Travis Kelce to return for the 2025 season, based on their conversation at the end of the 2024 season. While there have been reports of a possible deadline for Kelce's decision, Veach stated that there is no deadline as far as he is concerned. Kelce is due an $11.5 million roster bonus on March 15, and Veach expressed excitement about having him back. Head coach Andy Reid was more noncommittal, leaving the decision up to Kelce, who has played all 13 seasons of his career with the Chiefs. Despite a slight decline in production, Kelce's potential return for another season seems likely.
