The Grateful Dead is set to release a massive 60-disc box set titled "Enjoying the Ride" to commemorate the band's 60th anniversary. The set will feature complete shows from 20 iconic venues associated with the Dead, spanning from 1969 to 1994. The limited-edition collection, curated by the band's archivist David Lemieux, includes previously unreleased recordings and pays homage to the Dead's live performances and the journey of Deadheads to these venues. Despite challenges in sourcing and compiling the recordings, the box set aims to capture the essence of the Dead's legendary live performances for fans to enjoy.
