After being shelved by Warner Bros. for tax incentives, the Looney Tunes-inspired film "Coyote vs. Acme" is close to finding a new distributor. Ketchup Entertainment is expected to acquire distribution rights for the film, with a reported price tag in the $50 million range. The movie, a live action-animation hybrid starring John Cena and Lana Condor, was directed by Dave Green and produced by James Gunn. "Coyote vs. Acme" was one of three films shelved by Warner Bros. as part of post-pandemic cost-cutting measures, with Ketchup Entertainment stepping in to distribute another Looney Tunes movie, "The Day the Earth Blew Up."
