Paramount is releasing a new Naked Gun movie starring Liam Neeson as Lt. Frank Drebin Jr., the son of the original character played by Leslie Nielsen. The film maintains the same tone as the original trilogy, spoofing cop movies and Hollywood cliches. The trailer features a joke about O.J. Simpson, who appeared in the original films. Directed by Akiva Schaffer, the new Naked Gun is set to open in theaters on August 1.
