Country music artist Chris Janson surprised a U.S. veteran with a new home at the Helping a Hero Salute to America Brunch in Washington, D.C. The event honored American veterans, including Mark “Oz” Geist, known for his heroism during the Benghazi attack. Janson performed hits like “Good Vibes” and “Buy Me A Boat” and helped raise over $70,000 for Helping A Hero through a special auction. Janson was also honored with a 5x Platinum certification for his song “Buy Me a Boat” by the RIAA during a special presentation in Washington, D.C. Janson is set to open for Kid Rock on his upcoming tour.
