Olivia Wilde is set to direct "The Invite," a date night comedy inspired by the Spanish film "Sentimental," with a star-studded cast including Seth Rogen, Penélope Cruz, and Edward Norton. The film, adapted by Rashida Jones and Will McCormack, follows a couple hosting neighbors for an evening filled with unexpected twists and revelations. Principal photography has begun in Los Angeles, with the film co-financed by FilmNation Entertainment and Annapurna Pictures. Wilde, known for directing "Don't Worry Darling" and "Booksmart," is also attached to other upcoming projects, while Rogen, Cruz, and Norton bring their acclaimed talents to the film.
