A lawsuit has been filed against American Airlines and its regional carrier Envoy Air following the death of a 62-year-old man who suffered a medical crisis onboard a flight. The lawsuit alleges that the crew delayed requesting medical assistance until after the aircraft had landed and all passengers had deplaned. The lawsuit claims that the negligence of the airlines led to the death of the passenger, who was traveling to Durango-La Plata County Airport. Despite efforts by emergency services, the man did not achieve Return of Spontaneous Circulation and was pronounced dead the following morning.
