Lost Highway Records, a prestigious country and Americana imprint, was known for releasing soundtracks and records by artists like Willie Nelson and Lucinda Williams. After being subsumed into Mercury Nashville in 2012, the label has returned with T Bone Burnett as a key player. Kacey Musgraves, who was the last artist to sign to Lost Highway before it ceased operations in 2011, has now signed with the label again. Musgraves has covered the Hank Williams classic "Lost Highway" to mark the occasion and is working on a new album that explores a balance between tradition and modernity.
