Peppa was born deaf and visually impaired, but the 1-year-old mixed breed uses her “perfectly pink nose” as a guide, shelter officials in Hawaii said.The perky pup, who can make out shadows and shapes, “navigates the world with ease, curiosity, and confidence,” playing with toys and “greeting her friends with a wagging tail and her gorgeous smile,” the Hawaii Island Humane Society said in a May 6 post on Facebook.Shelter officials are hoping Peppa soon finds a family of her own.The all-white pup has spent 281 days — much of her short life — in the humane society’s care, shelter ..
