ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - John King, the current Georgia Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner, announces he is running for U.S. Senate.On Monday, King announced he is running to unseat U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff, a Democrat who is facing reelection, in 2026.King’s decision to enter the race came after outgoing Georgia Gov.
