House staffer for Sara Jacobs has car stolen in DC carjacking

A senior staffer for Rep. Sara Jacobs (D-CA) was a victim of an armed carjacking on Friday in a Washington, D.C., neighborhood where many Capitol Hill staffers live.The incident took place at the Harris Teeter in Navy Yard. Jacobs’s deputy chief of staff’s car, work laptop, phone, iPad, staff identification, and bag were stolen.Two suspects were arrested Saturday following the incident, and two firearms were recovered. The suspects were 14- and 15-year-old males.
