[!CDATA[Gloria Estefan is set to mark her five decades in the music industry with a special performance at the upcoming 2025 American Music Awards (AMAs). The star-studded event, hosted by Jennifer Lopez, will feature performances by Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Reneé Rapp, and AMA nominees Benson Boone and Lainey Wilson. The 51st AMAs will be broadcast live from Fontainebleau Las Vegas on Monday, May 26 at 8:00 PM, ET / 5:00 PM, PT on CBS and Paramount+. In addition to the exciting lineup of performers, the legendary entertainer Janet Jackson will be honored with the prestigious ICON Award at the AMAs. This award recognizes artists who have made a significant impact on the music industry. Janet Jackson, an 11-time American Music Award winner, will also take the stage for her first television performance since 2018. The AMAs will partner with the Easy Day Foundation, a Las Vegas-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans' transition to civilian life. The collaboration will feature special in-show moments that celebrate veterans and raise funds for various national and local organizations. These moments will include performances, the presentation of a special award to a talent supporting the veteran community, and inspirational stories from active-duty service members and veterans. Voting closes on Thursday, May 15 at 11:59:59 PM, PT, with the exception of Collaboration of the Year and Social Song of the Year, which will remain open for web voting during the first 30 minutes of the broadcast.
