The Thurston County Sheriff's Office assisted the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division and an FBI special weapons and tactics team in executing a search warrant related to a violent robbery and theft of military weaponry and armor. The raid was linked to an assault at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, and two individuals were arrested for firearms-related offenses. The suspects were reportedly involved in Nazi White Nationalist activities.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Seattle confirmed that the search warrant was part of an Army CID and FBI investigation into the assault at the military base. A federal criminal complaint was expected to be unsealed, and the arrested individuals were scheduled to appear in U.S. District Court in Tacoma. The raid resulted in the seizure of 35 firearms, including an MG42 machine gun, grenade launchers, explosives, body armor, ammunition, and ballistic helmets. The residence was equipped with multiple rifles positioned at windows, and Nazi paraphernalia was found on the premises.
