Colorado Man Mohamed Sabry Soliman Faces Charges for Attack at Pro-Israel Rally

Mohamed Sabry Soliman is set to face charges related to an attack at a pro-Israel rally in Colorado. The charges could include attempted murder and possession of incendiary devices, carrying severe penalties if convicted. Soliman, an Egyptian-born resident of Colorado Springs, allegedly planned the attack for a year and executed it after his daughter's high school graduation. His family, including his wife and five children, was taken into custody by Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.

During the attack, Soliman allegedly threw Molotov Cocktails at a weekly demonstration, resulting in injuries to several individuals. He entered the U.S. on a tourist visa in 2022 and remained in the country after the visa expired, seeking asylum. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem stated that Soliman's family is being held in ICE custody, and investigations are ongoing to determine their involvement or knowledge of the attack.

Despite the family's cooperation with investigators, they may still face deportation. The White House hinted at the possibility of the family's imminent deportation, with a message indicating "Six One-Way Tickets for Mohamed’s Wife and Five Kids. Final Boarding Call Coming Soon." The fate of Soliman's family remains uncertain as authorities continue to investigate the case.
