DDG Files Counter-Petition for Restraining Order Against Halle Bailey: Allegations of Abuse and Manipulation Unveiled

DDG has responded to Halle Bailey's accusations of domestic violence by filing a counter-petition requesting a restraining order against her. The streamer and rapper claims that Bailey has been abusive towards him and has threatened self-harm as a form of emotional manipulation. DDG denies the allegations of physical abuse made by Bailey and asserts that he is the one in need of protection.
According to DDG's counter-petition, Bailey has allegedly punched and slapped him, stalked him by hiding Airtags in his cars, and threatened self-harm with both a knife and a gun during jealous outbursts. DDG also claims that Bailey has used their son, Halo, as a tool of manipulation, including threatening to get an abortion during her pregnancy and blocking his access to the child.
DDG's court filing includes text messages between him and Bailey, where she expresses intentions of self-harm and distress. The counter-petition seeks a stay-away order against Bailey and joint or shared custody of Halo, who is currently under Bailey's sole custody as per the temporary restraining order.
DDG is also opposing Bailey's request to take Halo with her to Italy for a movie shoot, citing concerns about her psychological state and the safety of the child. DDG's attorney argues that Bailey's history of threatening suicide and emotional instability make her unfit to care for Halo abroad without proper supervision and intervention.
Bailey's representatives have not yet responded to the allegations, but her attorney has stated that DDG's claims are inaccurate. The court is expected to make a decision on whether Halo can accompany Bailey to Italy soon, with a full hearing scheduled for June 24 to address the competing petitions for permanent restraining orders between DDG and Bailey.
