Kory and the Fireflies to Open for ZZ Top at Battery Park on August 2nd
The upcoming show at Battery Park on Saturday, August 2nd will feature Kory and the Fireflies as the opening act for ZZ Top. Kory and the Fireflies, founded by Kory Van Sickle in 1994, have been actively writing, recording, and performing music for years. The band has released four CDs and has shared the stage with over 80 national acts.
In recognition of their musical contributions, Kory and the Fireflies were inducted into the South Dakota Rock & Rollers Hall of Fame in 2023. Additionally, the band is set to be honored in Iowa's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this year.
