Steve Perry's Personal Archives Auction: Supporting Altadena Fire Victims Through Sweet Relief Musicians Fund

Altadena is in the process of rebuilding its neighborhoods following the Los Angeles wildfires, and former JOURNEY singer Steve Perry has teamed up with Darkives Collectibles to launch an auction site featuring items from his personal archive. The auction aims to raise funds for Altadena fire victims through the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund. Over 50 pieces from Perry's personal archives are up for auction, including handwritten lyrics, gold and platinum records, vintage tour merchandise, signed instruments, and vinyl test pressings, all authenticated by Audio Media Grading (AMG).
The auction includes unique items like handwritten lyrics of JOURNEY classics, RIAA awards, solo and JOURNEY albums, vintage tour merchandise, and a signed license plate thrown on stage during a show. Perry expressed his excitement about sharing his personal archives with fans and supporting a good cause. Dark Horse Records CEO Dhani Harrison praised Perry's generosity and encouraged fans to explore the treasures from his archives. Sweet Relief Musicians Fund executive director Aric Steinberg expressed gratitude for being the charity beneficiary of the auction.
Recently, Perry released a reimagined version of the power ballad "Faithfully" as a duet with Willie Nelson. The track was recorded in Nashville and produced by Kent Wells and Steve Perry. Other musicians featured on the duet include Mike Rojas, James Mitchell, Kent Wells, Scott Sanders, Steve Mackey, Mickey Raphael, and Nir Z.
Darkives Collectibles, a platform specializing in curating artist archives, offers fans the chance to acquire unique and collectible items directly from artists' personal collections.
