Tom Felton, known for his role as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series, is set to make his Broadway debut in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. He will be reprising his role as Draco, taking over from Aaron Bartz. The play, which first premiered in London in 2016 and later on Broadway in 2018, will see Felton return to the character he portrayed for eight films.

The Broadway production of Cursed Child is set 19 years after the events of the seventh book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It follows the story of Harry Potter and his family, including his son Albus, as they navigate the wizarding world. The play was originally presented in two parts but was restructured into a single show following the pandemic shutdown.

While there have been talks about a film adaptation of Cursed Child, with the original cast reprising their roles as adult characters, nothing has been confirmed yet. Felton has expressed his eagerness to return to the Wizarding World, stating that he would gladly portray any Malfoy family member if given the opportunity. He emphasized his connection to the character of Draco and his willingness to continue exploring that role.

Fans can look forward to seeing Felton as Draco on Broadway at the Lyric Theatre in New York City starting November 11 for a 19-week run.
