Fox Cancels The Cleaning Lady and Alert: Missing Persons Unit: Series Finales Air in May and June
Fox has made the decision to cancel two scripted series, The Cleaning Lady and Alert: Missing Persons Unit. The Cleaning Lady, based on the Argentinian series La chica que limpia, follows Thony De La Rosa, an undocumented immigrant and former surgeon who works for a crime syndicate to get medical treatment for her son. Alert: Missing Persons Unit is set in the Philadelphia PD's MPU and focuses on the search for missing persons, with a twist involving the murder of one of the main characters. The series finales of both shows also serve as their series enders, airing on May 27 and June 3 respectively. The cancellations leave only Accused and The Great North awaiting news on their futures at Fox.
