Marvel's Deadpool VR: Step into the Chaotic World of the Super-Antihero in Quest 3 and Quest 3S

Marvel's Deadpool VR is an upcoming action-adventure game exclusive to Quest 3 and Quest 3S, set to be released later this year. Developed by Twisted Pixel Games in collaboration with Marvel Games, the game allows players to step into the shoes of the super-antihero Deadpool in a mix of parkour and chaotic combat. The game features cell-shaded graphics and will include various locations from the Marvel universe where players will face off against iconic villains. Unlike the films, Deadpool in the game is voiced by Neil Patrick Harris instead of Ryan Reynolds.

Twisted Pixel Games, founded in 2006, has a history of developing Xbox games published by Microsoft. The studio was owned by Microsoft from 2011 to 2015 before becoming independent again. In recent years, Twisted Pixel Games has focused on VR games, releasing four titles between 2017 and 2019. The studio was acquired by Meta in 2021.

Marvel's Deadpool VR will be the third major VR game released by Meta's Oculus Studios for Quest headsets in three years, following Batman: Arkham Shadow and Asgard's Wrath 2. It will also be the second official Marvel game available on Quest headsets, following the port of Iron Man VR. Deadpool was previously featured in the multiplayer game Marvel Powers United VR, which was shut down by Meta in 2020.

The upcoming Marvel's Deadpool VR will offer players the opportunity to embody the super-antihero in a virtual reality setting. The game is exclusive to Quest 3 and Quest 3S and is expected to launch later this year. Players can look forward to experiencing the over-the-top action and humor of Deadpool in a new immersive way.
