The Albums: 2002-2012 - A Tribute to RUSH's Enduring Legacy

RUSH's collection of four albums released between 2002 and 2012 on Atlantic Records will be reissued in a special vinyl boxed set titled "The Albums: 2002-2012." This set includes the albums "Vapor Trails" (2002), "Feedback" (2004), "Snakes & Arrows" (2007), and "Clockwork Angels" (2012). The band's enduring legacy and Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction in 2013 highlight their impact on rock history. The limited edition 7LP boxed set will be available for purchase from RushBackstage.com and Rhino.com.

"Vapor Trails" marked RUSH's return after a five-year hiatus, with drummer Neil Peart finding inspiration to create music again after personal tragedies. The album served as a source of healing for the band and their fans, reaching high chart positions in both Canada and the U.S.

"Feedback" celebrated RUSH's 30th anniversary by revisiting their early influences in 60s garage rock. The album featured covers of songs from bands like BUFFALO SPRINGFIELD, THE WHO, and CREAM, and achieved success on the Canadian and U.S. charts.

"Snakes & Arrows" continued RUSH's progressive rock journey with original material that garnered critical acclaim and a Grammy nomination. The album solidified their place in the rock scene and was recognized as an essential progressive rock album of the decade.

"Clockwork Angels" served as RUSH's final studio album, telling a captivating story set in a steampunk world. The album debuted at the top of the charts in both Canada and the U.S., showcasing the band's musical prowess and storytelling abilities.

Following the passing of drummer Neil Peart in 2020, RUSH members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson have not released new music or performed live under the RUSH name. Despite offers from other drummers to step in, the band has chosen to honor Peart's legacy by refraining from further musical endeavors. The impact of Peart's death reverberated across the music world, leaving fans and musicians mourning the loss of a legendary talent.
