Steve Perry's Charity Auction: Journey Memorabilia for a Cause
Steve Perry, the former lead singer of Journey, is selling a variety of items from his personal collection to support the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund. This charity offers financial assistance to struggling musicians and music industry workers. Perry is offering handwritten lyrics for Journey hits like "Don't Stop Believin'," "Faithfully," and "Foolish Heart," as well as signed RIAA sales awards for Journey's Greatest Hits album and Escape. The auction is hosted on the Darkives Collectables site, a division of Dark Horse Records, and will end on June 13th at 12 P.M.
Perry expressed his excitement about sharing items from his personal archives with fans who have supported him over the years. He emphasized that each piece in the collection has been carefully preserved and is now ready to be passed on to fans to be enjoyed and cherished in their own collections. Darkive Collectables, the managing entity of the auction, recently released a new rendition of "Faithfully" featuring Perry and country icon Willie Nelson.
