Republic of Ireland Deaf Futsal Team Ready for Deaf Futsal Championships 2025 in Italy
Catherine Grier from Bonagee United FC and Teagan O’Reilly from Drumbar United FC have been selected to represent the Republic of Ireland in the upcoming Deaf Futsal Championships 2025. The tournament is scheduled to be held in Montesilvano, Italy, from June 14th to June 27th. Ireland will compete in Group B against Brazil, Turkiye, and Spain, with their first match against Spain on June 15th.
Both Catherine and Teagan will be flying out on June 13th to join the Irish squad for the championships. The event will feature 12 women's teams and 24 men's teams from various countries, showcasing top talent in deaf futsal.
