Discover Split: easyJet's New Holiday Destination from Liverpool John Lennon Airport
easyJet has launched its first flight to a new holiday destination from Liverpool John Lennon Airport. The inaugural flight to Split, Croatia, departed yesterday, marking the start of one of eight new routes introduced this summer with the addition of an eighth aircraft. This expansion will support 400 jobs directly and indirectly. The new route to Split will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays throughout the year. Split, the largest city on the Croatian coast with a rich history dating back to the Roman era, offers more than just a party scene. Visitors can explore ancient ruins, trendy shops, open-air markets, and the picturesque Adriatic coastline with its beautiful beaches and clear turquoise waters.
Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, expressed excitement about the new summer route to Split, highlighting the airline's commitment to providing diverse holiday options for travelers from Liverpool. With a vast short-haul network and exclusive easyJet holidays packages, the airline aims to offer customers more choices and affordable travel options. This initiative is part of easyJet's ongoing efforts to make travel convenient and accessible for the two million passengers it serves annually at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
