Thunderbolts* Home Release: Digital and Blu-ray Available July 1, 2025
Marvel Studios has announced the upcoming digital and Blu-ray release of Thunderbolts*, also known as *The New Avengers, after its theatrical run fell short of box office expectations. The movie will be available on VOD platforms like Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home starting July 1, 2025. Fans looking to add Thunderbolts* to their physical movie collection can purchase the 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, or DVD versions on July 29. The 4K UHD release includes Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for an immersive viewing experience, with special editions like the limited-edition SteelBook and Walmart-exclusive Blu-ray featuring unique artwork.
Thunderbolts* comes packed with bonus features on its digital, 4K UHD, and Blu-ray releases, including a gag reel, director's audio commentary, deleted scenes, and behind-the-scenes featurettes. Directed by Jake Schreier, the movie follows an unconventional team of antiheroes, including Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster, and John Walker, as they navigate a dangerous mission orchestrated by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. As they confront their pasts, the group must decide whether to unite or succumb to internal conflicts.
