Constantin to Adapt Kate Stewart's Ravenhood Series into Film Franchise

Constantin, the producer of the Resident Evil franchise, is now working on adapting Kate Stewart's Ravenhood series into a new film franchise. The Ravenhood series, consisting of four novels with more to come, is a modern retelling of the Robin Hood story set in North Carolina. The story follows a young woman who becomes involved with a mysterious group with matching raven tattoos and their own set of rules.

Constantin has acquired the rights to Stewart's romance-suspense saga and has enlisted producer Robert Kulzer, along with Jennifer Gibgot and Andrew Panay from Offspring Entertainment, to work on the project. Mario Celaya, the screenwriter for After We Collided, will also be involved in the production. Stewart will co-write the script with Celaya and serve as an executive producer on the project.

The Ravenhood book trilogy, consisting of Flock, Exodus, and The Finish Line, has been published by Kensington Publishing in the U.S. and Pan Macmillan internationally. The latest addition to the series, One Last Rainy Day, is the first book in the Ravenhood Legacy Series. The film adaptation news comes just before the release of Severed Heart, the second book in the Ravenhood Legacy Series, on June 24th.

With a strong social media following, the Ravenhood series has sold over three million copies in paperback and audiobooks. Constantin, known for producing Resident Evil, The Neverending Story, and The Baader Meinhof Complex, is also working on Gore Verbinski's Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die.

Stewart is represented by Paradigm, Levy Law, and Odin Law & Media.
