Oasis has made a comeback in a new advertisement for Adidas Originals, which was released in preparation for Noel and Liam Gallagher's upcoming reunion tour. The video features Liam wearing Adidas Originals gear, such as Firebird tracksuits, raglan sleeve jerseys, bucket hats, and coach jackets. Both Oasis and Adidas had been hinting at an announcement on social media, leading up to the launch of the video on Channel 4.
The three-minute-long video showcases old and new footage of Noel and Liam wearing Adidas, along with throwback clips of iconic moments from the band's history. The collaboration between Adidas Originals and Oasis celebrates their shared history and connection rooted in music, fashion, and British identity. Filmed in a London pub, Liam and Noel faced complaints from neighbors about the noise during the shoot. Despite rumors of a live show, Liam clarified on Twitter that no live music was played during the filming. Noel later confirmed on TalkSport that he had met with Liam and that they were both excited about the upcoming tour. The new range will be available in Adidas stores, online, on oasisnet.com, and at the live tour dates this summer.
In addition to the tour, pop-up stores will be launched around the UK, starting with one in Manchester. Other locations include Cardiff, London, Edinburgh, Dublin, and Birmingham.
