Suga Completes Military Service and Apologizes for Past Incident: BTS Members Reunited After 2 Years
Suga, a member of the popular group BTS, recently completed his military service as a social service worker and was discharged on the 21st. He took to Weverse to express his apologies for his past drunk driving incident, acknowledging the disappointment and worry it caused fans. Suga was fined 15 million won for riding an electric scooter while intoxicated last year and expressed regret for hurting his fans and fellow group members.
After starting his military service in September 2023, Suga's discharge marks the completion of military duties for all BTS members. With the eldest member Jin enlisting in December 2022, the group is now reunited with their fans after approximately 2 years and 6 months. Suga thanked his fans for their patience and promised to work hard to reciprocate the love they have shown him in the future.
Prior to Suga's discharge, the BTS members attended J-Hope's solo world tour encore finale performance on the group's debut anniversary. Jin and Jungkook even joined J-Hope on stage for a special performance, showcasing their unity and support for each other.
