Hyundai N Dominates ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring: A Decade of High-Performance Excellence

Hyundai N's high-performance brand achieved a remarkable fifth consecutive victory in the TCR class at the prestigious ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring, showcasing its prowess in endurance motorsport. This year marked Hyundai's 10th consecutive appearance at the challenging 24-hour race, known as the "Green Hell" for its rigorous test of engineering and speed.
At the core of Hyundai N's success were two ELANTRA N TCR race cars, which secured a dominant 1-2 finish, highlighting the durability, agility, and high-performance capabilities of Hyundai's N brand. The ELANTRA N #1, driven by a talented German trio, clinched first place, closely followed by ELANTRA N #2, driven by a North American team, securing a well-deserved second place.
A standout moment from the race was the inspiring return of Robert Wickens, a paraplegic Canadian driver who raced using a custom hand-control system. Wickens' remarkable comeback exemplifies Hyundai's belief that motorsport is inclusive and open to all passionate drivers.
Hyundai also introduced the all-new ELANTRA N1 Cup car in the SP3T class, although its promising run was cut short due to a rear-end collision, leading to the vehicle's retirement after 17 hours. Despite this setback, the debut provided valuable insights that will shape the future development of N brand performance vehicles.
Since its debut at the Nürburgring in 2016, Hyundai N has utilized the challenging Nordschleife circuit to refine production-based N models. Each race at the Nürburgring serves as a crucial platform for gathering performance and durability data, driving innovation in road-going N vehicles.
In a display of unity, Hyundai and Toyota collaborated by co-hosting a joint booth at the 24h Nürburgring event, showcasing their shared commitment to performance innovation and fan engagement. This collaboration builds on their previous joint efforts at the Hyundai N x TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Festival in Korea and the 2024 WRC finale in Japan.
With another impressive TCR victory and a decade of Nürburgring participation, Hyundai's N brand continues to push the boundaries of high-performance technology. From cutting-edge engineering to inclusive racing, Hyundai N remains a symbol of innovation, resilience, and global collaboration in motorsport.
