Netflix's upcoming limited series "The Altruists" about the FTX cryptocurrency exchange has added 10 new cast members, including Eugene Young, Madison Hu, Karan Soni, Matt Rife, Alex Lawther, and Naomi Okada in series regular roles. The show will also feature Maddie Hasson, Marianna Phung, Paul Reiser, and Robin Weigert in recurring roles. The series, which has been given an eight-episode order, follows the story of Sam Bankman-Fried and Caroline Ellison as they attempt to remake the global financial system and end up stealing $8 billion. Co-showrunner Graham Moore expressed excitement about assembling a talented cast for the project, which will be executive produced by Julia Garner and directed by James Ponsoldt.
