Blake Lively has started her deposition in the lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, the director and costar of It Ends With Us. The Gossip Girl star arrived in New York City for the deposition conducted by Baldoni's legal team. Earlier, Baldoni's attorney suggested holding Lively's deposition at Madison Square Garden and streaming it for charity. Lively had requested a redacted location for the deposition, which was granted by the judge despite objections from Baldoni's team.
The legal battle between Lively and Baldoni began in December 2024 when Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment during the filming of It Ends With Us. Baldoni denied the allegations and countersued Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and her publicist for extortion and defamation. Baldoni's lawsuit against Lively, Reynolds, and the publicist was dismissed by a judge in June.
