Breck's Summit Trail Running Series: Tom's Baby Turnaround Race Recap

The Race Breck’s Summit Trail Running Series resumed with the Tom’s Baby Turnaround race after a two-week delay due to poor air quality from wildfires. Trail runners gathered to tackle the challenging course through Breckenridge's trail network. The long-course race covered 7.6 miles with 1,027 feet of climbing, attracting runners like Joshua Ernst and John Rauen. Ernst emerged victorious with a time of 51:23, followed by Rauen in second place and Paul Timm in third. Natalie Kalin claimed the women's title with a time of 1:00:01.
In the short-course race, Danny Butler dominated the field, finishing first with a time of 30:11. Natalie Choy and William Weiss secured second and third place, respectively. The top female finishers were Jenny Wong in fifth place, Kyanne Ruth Williams in sixth, and Lucia Templeton in seventh.
