The 'Reverend Curtis Black' series centers around the tumultuous personal life of a charismatic preacher, with the ninth installment, 'The Reverend's Wife,' earning the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Work – Fiction. In addition to the series, Roby has penned standalone works like 'Sisters Friends Forever,' a tale of longtime female friendship, and the non-fiction piece 'The Woman God Created You to Be.'
