Tragic Incident in Mount Airy: Young Boy Swept into Drainage Pipe During Flash Flood
A tragic incident occurred in Mount Airy when a young boy was swept into a drainage pipe while playing with other children during a flash flood. The boy's body was discovered by a bystander and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Mount Airy Volunteer Fire Company responded to the emergency, and the Mount Airy Police Department is currently conducting a death investigation.
