Formula 1 Teams Prepare for Hungarian Grand Prix with Car Updates Tailored to Hungaroring Circuit

Formula 1 teams are gearing up for the Hungarian Grand Prix with updates to their cars. Red Bull, Racing Bulls, and Aston Martin have all submitted modifications to their cars for the upcoming race. The updates are tailored to the demands of the Hungaroring circuit, which requires higher levels of downforce due to its slow-to-medium speed corners.
Red Bull has introduced a new upper front wing element with a longer chord to increase front-end load. They have also opened up the brake cooling ducts to prepare for higher brake temperatures at the Hungaroring. Aston Martin has made changes to their front wing flap to create a more aggressive design that complements their existing front wing.
Other teams will be optimizing their existing wings, likely starting from their Monaco packages and adjusting as needed. Racing Bulls focused on revising surfaces around the front brake drums to improve airflow in that area. They also produced new panels for engine cover cooling to manage heat dissipation with lower speeds expected at the Hungaroring.
Mercedes, on the other hand, is reverting to their initial suspension package after experimenting with a new set-up introduced at Imola. The team will go back to their original suspension used in Monaco and Barcelona before trying out the new configuration again in Canada.
In preparation for the Hungarian Grand Prix, teams are fine-tuning their cars to maximize performance on the unique Hungaroring circuit. With the summer break approaching, these updates will be crucial in maintaining competitiveness as the season progresses.
