King Crimson Announces Reissues of In The Wake Of Poseidon and Lizard with New Mixes and Bonus Content

King Crimson is set to release reissues of their 1970 albums, In The Wake Of Poseidon and Lizard, in CD and vinyl formats. The reissues, scheduled for release on October 24 through DGM/Panegryic, will include two-disc sets for both albums. In The Wake Of Poseidon and Lizard will feature new mixes by Steven Wilson in Dolby Atmos, 5.1 DTS-HD MA, surround, and Hi-Res Stereo, along with Elemental Mixes by David Singleton for select tracks.
In The Wake Of Poseidon's reissue will include an alternate version of Devil's Triangle from the Sailors’ Tales boxed set, while Lizard will feature the complete recording sessions from September 1970 in 24/48. The releases will be presented in mini-vinyl style packaging with a booklet containing photos and sleevenotes by King Crimson biographer Sid Smith.
Robert Fripp describes Lizard as an album that pushes the boundaries of stereo, blending free-jazz with progressive rock in an experimental way. The vinyl reissue of Lizard will be pressed on 200-gram Super-Heavyweight Vinyl at Vinyl Factory, London, with a new 2025 Elemental Mix by David Singleton.
Fans can pre-order the reissues now to secure their copies.
