Apple TV+ is set to release a new series called KPopped on August 29th, featuring collaborations between K-pop artists and Western musicians. The show will showcase music icons reimagining their biggest hits with the help of K-pop groups like BILLIE, Itzy, KEP1ER, JO1, Ateez, STAYC, Kiss of Life, and Blackswan. Western artists such as Megan Thee Stallion, Patti Labelle, Spice Girls’ Mel B and Emma Bunton, Vanilla Ice, Taylor Dayne, Kesha, Eve, J Balvin, Kylie Minogue, TLC, Boy George, Jess Glynne, Ava Max, and Boyz II Men will also participate in the series.

Hosted by comedian Soojeong Son, KPopped will feature fresh interpretations of popular songs like ‘Savage’, ‘Wannabe’, ‘Ice Ice Baby’, ‘Lady Marmalade’, ‘Can’t Get You Out of My Head’, ‘Motownphilly’, and ‘Waterfalls’. The show will culminate in a live competition in Seoul where the audience will decide the best new K-popped song. Executive produced by Moira Ross, Lionel Richie, Miky Lee, Megan Thee Stallion, and Greg Foster, KPopped promises to be a cross-cultural musical celebration that brings together artists from different backgrounds for a unique musical experience.
